I am now in the midst of moving. Since my landlord decided to move his in-laws into our house and kick us all out, I bought a condo (eek!) and have until the 21st to get it all painted and my stuff all moved in. This is making me realize that I have quite a bit of stuff. So now I have the lovely task of basically doing a complete inventory and purge of everything I own, to get rid of things I no longer use and pare down my belongings. It is quite a daunting task. But so far it is going well, I am breaking it into small bits. A drawer here, a shelf there, and slowly I'm making my way through. There are a lot of things that I have been keeping for sentimental reasons that I feel I'm ready to part with now. I do not need binders and binders of exam prep info, especially since all of the info is way outdated now and would not be useful to me or anyone else.
Moving is proving to be expensive too. I have to pay utility deposits and buy a bunch of stuff that I didn't need before, like furniture. Luckily not too much furniture, the condo is fairly small and I do have some stuff already. Which means I have to move it, instead of buying it. My big area rug needed cleaning though, so I was smart and am having it cleaned and delivered to my new place. Means I don't have to try to move it. That thing is heavy and awkward!
Alright, back to packing for me. Where am I going to put everything?!?!
